Return and Refund Policy

At Bookala.in, we want your reading experience to be perfect. If you are not satisfied with your purchase, our standard return policy has you covered.

1. The 14-Day Return Window

You have 14 days from the date of delivery to request a return or replacement. To ensure eligibility, please notify us within this 14-day window.

2. Condition of the Book

To be eligible for a return, the book must be in the same condition as when you received it. It should be free of new marks, folds, or damage to the spine.

3. Zero-Cost Doorstep Pickup

We believe returns should be stress-free. If you need to return or replace a book:

  • We handle the logistics: Our courier partner will come directly to your doorstep to pick up the item.

  • Free Shipping: Bookala.in will bear 100% of the shipping costs for returning or replacing the item.

  • No Effort Required: You don’t need to worry about booking a courier or paying any fees. We take care of everything for you.

4. How to Request a Return

  1. Contact Us: Reach out via email at Support@bookala.in or +91 9999818468 WhatsApp at with your Order ID.

  2. Scheduling: Once your request is confirmed, we will schedule a pickup at a time convenient for you.

  3. Handover: Simply keep the book ready for our courier executive.

5. Refunds & Replacements

  • Replacements: If you requested a replacement, we will dispatch the new copy as soon as the original is picked up or received at our hub.

  • Refunds: Refunds will be processed within 7 business days back to your original payment method. In cases where this is not possible, we will coordinate for a direct bank transfer.*

6. Non-Returnable Items

  • Items requested for return after the 14-day window.

  • Digital products (E-books).

  • Books that show clear signs of use or damage not present at the time of delivery.

We do not sell physical books under “final sale” or “non-returnable” terms. All physical books are eligible for return in accordance with this Return & Refund Policy.

Restocking Fees: No restocking fees will be charged on any returns.

This Return & Refund Policy is applicable only to orders delivered within India.
