This was the prequel that I didn’t know I needed. I mean, A Good Girl’s Guide to Murder has got to be one of my top favourite series of all times - and I honestly, first liked Pip and then started admiring Pip for her plucky courage.

So when I realised that there was a prequel available- that shows the journey of Pip to choosing the topic of her project; I just had a pick it up!

It’s a short story; and has Pip with her friends coming together to have a murder mystery party. Pip has no interest in the party - but she comes together with her friends half heartedly to join in.

But slowly, and surely, she starts getting into the mix of things - and she starts to understand her need to put the clues together so not only can she win at the party but also so that they actually make sense.

We also see some characters who will play quite an important role in the future for Pip and the way she comes to decide on the subject of her project.
•
Definitely recommended if you are a fan of The Good Girl’s Guide to Murder series or if you are still unsure of starting it! 🤌🏼

Not the best story but Has the best packaging ever. Not even covers is damaged. Has good paper quality

The book gives the kick start to Pippa and is the backbone for the agggtm series.
