Return & Refund Policy

At Bookala.in, we strive to deliver high-quality books and a smooth shopping experience. Our return and refund policyis valid for 3 calendar days from the date of delivery, and applies under the conditions listed below.

1. Eligibility for Returns & Refunds

Customers may request a return or refund within 3 days of delivery if:

  • The wrong item was delivered.

  • The book received is torn, damaged, or defective.

  • The shipment was lost or not delivered by the courier.

  • The order was cancelled before dispatch or rejected at delivery.

Requests received after 3 days of delivery will not be eligible.

2. Non-Returnable Scenarios

Returns and refunds will not be accepted for:

  • Change of mind, personal preference, or post-purchase disinterest.

  • Books showing signs of use, damage, or tampering not caused during delivery.

  • Digital products or gift cards (non-returnable and non-refundable).

3. How to Request a Return

To request a return, email support@bookala.in within 3 days of delivery.
Include your Order ID, a brief description of the issue, and supporting photos or an unboxing video showing the damage or defect.

4. Return Conditions

Items must be returned in unused condition, with the original packaging and invoice. Once your return is approved, a reverse pickup will be arranged within 3–5 business days. Refunds are processed within 5–7 working days after inspection.

5. Important Notes

  • Claims without valid unboxing video proof will not be accepted.

  • Bookala reserves the right to approve or reject return requests based on verification.

  • For any disputes, jurisdiction lies in New Delhi, India
