I don't personally write reviews and I only read for fun but this book was so beautifully written. I noticed a repeating pattern of Ana huang books but this one took my heart even though I read similar storylines like this. The author did a wonderful job in making me feel relatable to the character in this book. I love it!! And I will definitely read this again!!!😻🥰

King of pride is better than King of Sloath. Isabella is a writer, intellectual, funny and bold. Usually, typical CEO stories has the female lead who is gracious and career oriented. Here Isa is opinanated, its good. Always there is a intellectual dual between Isa and Kai and Kai was ready to lose everything to be with her. Its good to read and story is fresh, i completed it in 2 days.
Ana Huang crafts another unforgettable romance in King of Pride. The chemistry between the leads is electric, the tension deliciously addictive, and the emotional depth gives the story real heart. A perfect mix of glamour, passion, and vulnerability—highly recommended for fans of slow-burn romance.
“King of Pride†had all the right elements for an opposite-attracts romance, but the spark just never caught for me. The characters were fine on their own, yet their connection felt flat, and the pacing dragged so much that I’m still not sure how I managed to finish it. While there were a few thoughtful moments and bits of witty banter, the story was predictable and lacked the pull I was hoping for. A decent pick if you enjoy a slower, low-drama romance — but not one I’d revisit.
